For me it's Summer by a huge margin - I like Christmas (going again in less than 2 months) but I also like dry warm weather (most of the time) and the biggest deciding factor for me is the park opening times - those extra 3 hours in the summer make an extra day in the park over a 4 day trip and that's a huge bonus - I also like to be able to eat an evening meal at places like The Blue Lagoon (seems so much more romantic at night) and still be able to see the Fantillusion Parade later on. I am also a huge huge fan of Tarzan: The Encounter which doesn't run at Christmas. I haven't been during Halloween but that is planned for next year.

Hi,
Last year we went for Halloween and it was fantastic. I never really made a big thing out of halloween myself but disney really get you into the spirit. The pumpkin men are great and there is orange paint everywhere and a giant pumpkin in front of the castle. The pumpkin men take over Frontier Land. I must say I really enjoyed the Disney Villain Parade. Also the song that they play on Main Street "Its Halloween o Ween Everybody" is so catchy we play it all year round in our house. Disney have inspired me to have a halloween party ourselves and there will be only one song played :rolleyes1
Having said all that I do love Christmas as we are going on 21st November for 4 nights.
Hoping to go next year for halloween :wave2:

I've only been at Christmas and in the summer. When I read this post I was going to reply Christmas as being my favourite, but then I read Steve's post and agreed with what he said. So, there's nothing between them - they're both brilliant is my answer!

I've been once - at Easter which was great. I'm going soon during Magic Unlimited and I'm really really really excited
The best thing about going in April was the nice weather and not too many crowds. There weren't any Easter decorations but that didn't matter as it was my first visit and still special. :wave2:

Summer is lovely because of the weather but Christmas still tops the list in this house.
The magic of the park and decoration more than compensates for the cold :goodvibes

I've only ever been in the summer and October half term, and out of those two I would probably choose summer due to the dryer weather! I realllllly want to go at Halloween one day though, I imagine a Disney Halloween would rock!

Halloween, definately! It's fantastic. DW took a ride on the "Mummy Cruise Lines" and they had zombies walking around on the paddlesteamer. Great! Plus the whole of Frontierland is decorated with pumpkins.

However much I loved DLRP in the summer :sunny: I am really looking forward to seeing it at Christmas :cold: and I think that will be my favourite of the two. Then again I would love to go for Halloween one year!
