yes, unfortunately my return flight that I need for Feb 12 is almost double what I paid on the outbound! (136/person vs 70!). Wondering if I should wait or book now?

Just booked Feb 8-15 for $79 each way. Still hoping for a DING! or sale. We flew last year at that time for $29 each way and now I am spoiled. Although, I don't think $49 is unreasonable. Either way, it's cheaper than Pearson!
PS - I just checked Westjet and it's $500.23 for one person - so think of SWA as a 3-for-1 LOL ;)

I would book now and then change it when the DING'S come out for your dates.
That's just me though!

If it's a DING fare you need to open up one screen ready to book the ding fare and the other screen you need to cancel your original reservation. You'll need to transfer the funds from the original reservation to the DING fare. It sounds complicated, but it's not. It's all in the timing though. If you don't have the screens going together you could lose your seats on your original flights. I'm not sure if Southwest will do this over the phone for you or not.
It is going to cost us $877 for all 5 of us for March Break, no flights on the 5th or coming home the 19th. We are flexible, but it might make more sense for us to drive with having 4 kids.
Let's hope that they'll have some cheaper fares come out for March. There's lots of time yet.

Did anyone get a good rate for March break?
Just wondering if rates were good when the schedule first opened up?

If you use the dates of March 8th you can get $73.49 rates! That's pretty good in my books. When I looked at 4pm everything was gone already except for the highest rates for the Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun before and after March Break. If you check out the Transportation board, they were saying that it took mere minutes for some days to be gone right away!
