View Full Version : Kraft Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe??
Please help this pregnant woman who is craving the original Kraft Peanut Butter Cookies - there used to be a recipe on the jar. There is now an "easy" recipe that isn't nearly as good. As an alternative, I'll take any really good recipe you may have. Help!!!!!!

Thanks Sammi - I'll give it a try but I've already looked at a bunch of recipe web sites and can't find the one I'm looking for. I made one recipe from cooks.com I think and it wasn't quite right. At least Tim Horton's makes yummy ones!

Hey!
I think I may have the one your looking for. My mom's old home-made recipe book has tons of cutouts from recipes on backs of boxes etc. I make them quite frequently and there super yummy. The recipe it at least 15 years old, so I'm pretty sure it's the original.
Written as it's written......
1 Cup Kraft Peanut Butter
1 Cup Parkay Margarine
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Backing Poweder
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Cream peanut butter, margarine and sugar; blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour sifted with baking powder, soda and salt; mix well. Form rounded teaspoons of dough in balls ; place on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten slightly; crisscross witha fork. Bake at 350 F (180C) for about 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen cookies.
Hope this is the one your craving for :-)
