Example: The My Favorite Easter Candy Exchange

First you would follow the instructions in the first post. Sending the person that is hosting (in this case kaylajr) a PM with your name, address, email address, number of exchanges you would like to do, if you would like to mail international or not, and any allergies that you have.

After the sign-ups close, the host will send you the name and address of another exchanger. You go out and purchase your favorite Easter Candy and mail to that person. In return someone will get your name and address and mail you their favorite Easter Candy.

There is no age limit. If you sign up, just be sure to follow through with sending out your exchange.
There are all different types of exchanges-Disney only exchanges, present exchange, kitchen item exchanges, candle exchanges.... and for each exchange, you will see a sign up thread. The organizer will post the dates, the dollar amount, and other specifics about it. If you see something that interests you, you would send in the requested info. to the organizer. He or she will then send you a name and info. of your buddy and you will send them their exchange. Once you send out your exchange, you will need to post on the sent/recieved thread, and post again when you have recieved your exchange.

Welcome to the DIS boards.
On the first page of this thread, there is a listing of upcoming exchanges that will be taking place. There are also other exchanges that happen that are not listed, so you have to just keep checking on this forum to see what is going on.
There are different type of exchanges and all the info. would be listed on the sign up thread that is posted by the exchange organizer. You would send your info. into the organizer and once the sign up ends, they will send you info. for your pal. You will buy things for your pal according to what the exchange is and then once you send it, you will post on the sent/recieved thread that will be set up.
Since you are an international participant, try checking with the exchange organizer to see if they are accepting international participants since they will need to find someone that is willing to send internationally.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here.

Well - I'm so bummed :guilty: I have been meaning to pop over to the exchange board for a few days to see if there is fun stuff going on during these dull winter months ....... much to my dismay, I see that I missed out on the Webkinz exchange! :sad2: I'm not going to tell the kids .... they'd string me up for that!
