OK -so when I was a kid, my Mom would always stop at the jewelry counter at one of the gift shops on Main St and eye this watch that was oblong/rectangular and had the Monopoly game board on it. But this was no cheesy watch! I believe it was selling for somewhere over $100 at the time. This was quite out of reach for my parents!
My parents are both gone now and I have this crazy need to find this watch and get it - somehow- for my Mom even though she's gone. I've looked all over E-Bay, but I really can't think of anywhere else to look.
Any ideas? I must sound a little batty, eh? :earboy2:
Any ideas on locating one of these would be appreciated! :flower:

Maybe you could send an email to Dave Smith, the Disney Archive Director. He may be able to tell you the manufacturer of the watch or find a photo. There are often Disneyana Conventions in the Disneyland area and with more information you might find someone who can help you find one.

I wonder if you can contact the watch shop on Main Street in Disneyland.

I can't find a picture, but I found one monopoly watch. Could this be about the right time?

Monopoly Watch, Limited Edition 10,000, Innovative Time Corp. 1994

I found someone selling 3 of the above watches. Monopoly Collection (http://www.mospaw.com/monopoly/list.html)

The reserve was not met on his collection in June 2005. It is worth a try. Good Luck.

I found another one too. Monopoly Collector (http://www.monopolycollector.com/zcollection.html)
