Sequoia Lodge at Xmas?

Can't afford my beloved DLH in November due to saving for WDW in April, so the SL looks really nice as a second choice. My question is, does anyone have any info or pics of the Xmas decorations or any more info/opinions about the hotel? Also, how long is the walk to Disney Village/parks?
