View Full Version : Which park tickets to buy?
SInce Disney changed the type of park tickets to buy, it is overwhelming trying to figure which way is the best way to go. Base ticket, magic plus ticket, hopper add on, premium plus... when you add up which works best, it seems like more money than just buying the premium tickets! If you want to have the hopper option but be able to go to disney quest just once or twice, it seems like too much $ to by a 3 day base with hopper option and a 2 days premium to use for disney quest.. anyone have any tips????? :Pinkbounc

Do you have a second or third Disney vacation in the distant future but definte? You could consider a 10 day non-expiring pass if that fully covers two entire relatively short vacations and possibly a third. It with hopping and water park fun costs $415. which I break down into ten park days at $34. each and five Disney Quest (or water park) admissions at about $14. each, usable on up to fifteen different calendar days if you choose.
The biggest tip: It is impossible to choose the best ticket without first knowing your present and future Disney vacation plans. I was even going to suggest not bothering brainstorming and figuring until you have crystallized (cast in stone) a schedule.
If you want to visit for just three days out of the rest of your life and in that time do park hopping and also visit Disney Quest and water parks twice, your best choice is a three day premium pass despite its $267. cost. Going to Disney Quest just once and water parks not at all, you don't want the premium pass (with water parks fun plus pack) but instead want a park pass with just hopping and a separate Disney Quest admission ($219. plus about $30. respectively).

I actually plan on going to disney every year. since I bought at SSR. I wish I was a FL resident as I would buy an annual pass. I guess I should look into the non expire tickets.
