How is the character interaction? How is the food? How long will it take? We have a seating at 7:00 am, so we shouldn't have to wait at all. Thanks!

We just did the Lilo and Stitch breakfast last friday. My youngest son who is 11 loves stitch and all he wanted to do while we were there was find stitch and get his autograph. We had been at the parks all of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and had not been able to find Stitch anywhere. Thursday we went to California Adventure as he is supposed to hang out there and were told he would'nt be out that day. I was starting to get desperate.
I remember reading about the Lilo and Stitch breakfast on this board so when we got back to the hotel Thursday night, I went down to the lobby and called Disney Diney and luckily enough was able to get reservations for Friday morning. My son didn't know until we walked in and we saw him. Stitch spent tons of time with us, (as well as everyone else) he sat at the table and played with my son and all of us for that matter. He kept taking the napkins and draping them on top of my head. I told my son that his goodness level was dropping and he'd make rasberry noises. We would have never gotten anywhere near that kind of interaction if we had stumbled across him at the park. The food was awesome too.
It was the best thing we did, I give it ten thumbs up. If you want character interaction, this is the place to go. Minnie Mouse and Goofy were there also.

We were there the weekend of July 16th the day before the big event. I wanted to surprise my girls. Breakfast was held at Paradise Pier Hotel. The characters I noticed visited families with the toddlers more than the big kids.
But I did get a few pictures.

Those of you who have done both the Lilo & Stitch and Goofy's Kitchen, which do you prefer? Or are they both equally as good? Does Goofy's Kitchen have as much interaction?

Alice'smom, I have heard a lot of good comments on the Banana's Foster French Toast, can you eloborate what this is, is it stuffed with banana's?
Can you get it anywhere else in the park beside the Lilo Brkf?

We have reservations for November 23 at 7:30 a.m. My kids get the whole week of Thanksgiving off, so I am taking them to DL for a couple of days and this breakfast sounded very fun. Both my kids are big Lilo and Stitch fans.

The French Toast isn't stuffed with banana's but rather topped with banana slices and a sauce, I wish I had asked for the recipe.
It is one of the many, many options for the buffet, I also liked the California eggs mixed with smoked salmon. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back!
I have never had breakfast anywhere else in the park so I am not sure if the French Toast is available in other restaurants.

Mary we'll be at DL that week too! We're doing Minnie and Friends at the Plaza Inn on the 23. Its our last day at the park, so we are doing a late brunch.

Where exactly is the Plaza Inn and what characters might we be able to see at their breakfast? Is there a link that shows the menu?

Here's the info from disneyland.com.
Sit down to a fantastic feast at this breakfast buffet where Minnie Mouse and her pals stop by your table for a special visit. Fun and smiles are always on the menu when Minnie makes the rounds and says a "hello" that your family will cherish forever.
" * Meet some of Minnie's pals
* Dine on a delicious assortment of breakfast items in an all-you-care-to-eat buffet
* Be sure to have your camera and autograph book at the ready to capture some truly magical moments"
The Plaza Inn is at the end of Main Street, just before you make the turn to Tomorrow Land (I'm going on memory from 2 years ago, but I think that is pretty close)

Ok, here's my fifty cents. We have done both and I think that the food was better (fancier) at Goofy's kitchen but character interaction was a little bit harder, since there was more people. Lilo and Stich was food was good (more like fast food) character interaction was great. They were able to spend more time with us and we were able to Hula and play games. The Banana stuff was great though.
All in all they both are great, but this time I only made PS for Minnie and Friends and Lilo and Stich breakfast. SO I guess that really means Goofy's kitchen wasnt the greatest for us.

We have done both L&S for Breakfast and GK for Dinner. There are more characters at Goofy kitchen and lots of interaction with the children. They also have a few games where the children come out in the center where the buffet is and dance. It was very crowded at Goofy kitchen and you could be at a table that is not within viewing distance of the buffet and the action. But characters will come around to your table.
At L&S there is only 3 characters (at least on our day), but we saw them at our table several times. They also did a Hula dance with the kids in the middle of the room.
I though the food was so so at Goofy's kitchen and great at L&S. L&S had good smoothies, salmon for breakfast and great coconut scones (YUM).
Enjoy

They both sound like a lot of fun. I asked the kids and they said they'd prefer Lilo& Stitch. Thanks for the info, we (I) can't wait to go!!
