We tried to book one of the Beach Cottages at Vero Beach for 2 nights after our NCL cruise next April and result - we got it - at exactly 7 months out. Even the chap who booked it was surprised there was one available.

Looking forward to relaxing in luxury, the wonderful sound of the ocean and showing Vero Beach to our friends Deb and Matt.

so jealous! I was going to try this for a few days at the 7 month window for October 2006 (as a surprise for DH and our friends) but our friends who are coming with recently told us they were too frightened to stay by the coast because of hurricanes!! I am hoping to get BCV but as it is food and wine festival may try VWL instead, as I think this has a beach.

I know we will go to Vero one day so this gives me hope for a beach cottage, perhaps with different friends or when DD has children!!!

Hi,
We spent 5 nights in a beach cottage last year and it was great. There is so much room and sitting out on the balcony overlooking the ocean was so relaxing.
Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Mick.

Wow! It sounds fab and I'm sure you'll have a magical time. :sunny:

VB is on our list for next trip (not sure quite when that will be!), but I don't think we'll be trying for a Beach Cottage.

Great news - we went to VB for the first time this August and it is now a firm part of our holiday plans. We hope to go for 4 nights next August but only in a 1 bed - the beach cottage sounds lovely

... the wonderful sound of the ocean ...

That's one of my favourite things about VB. We've just got back from HH and whilst we enjoyed it, and went to the Beach House by the ocean regularly, it just wasn't the same as being able to hear it from your room (and it's 1.5 miles away!)

Congratulations at getting a beach cottage, I've done the tour when they did an Open House and it was wonderful :)

We certainly fell on our feet when we met you! First a BoardWalk Grand Villa and now a Beach Cottage at Vero Beach. The fact that you're wonderful people is obviously a bonus. Oh, and Kev's a handsome and suave man, and your beauty could knock a man dead at ten paces. Is that enough creeping now? ;) Penthouse Suite at the Grand Floridian next October?
