Who likes performing in plays/musicals? I love doing that! I've been in 3 and gonna be in my school's play this year(I don't know what we r doing this year) If u have been in plays, tell me what plays u have been in and what your part was!

I've been in...

"Annie Jr." ( a junior version of annie) I was an orphan and I was in 5th grade (Performed at my elementary school, Silver Bay)

"Guys and Dolls Jr" I was Agatha, a mission band member and I was in 6th grade (Performed at my elem. school, Silver Bay)

"Annie" I was Mrs. Greer, the maid at the Warbucks mansion. That was last year, my 7th grade year. It was performed at me school now, Intermediate East

I'm not in any of the plays/musicals at my school, but a LOT of my friends are! I wanna be in both, but they conflict w/the sports I'm in. :( But last year, the play was "You Can't Take It With You" and the musical was "Bye Bye Birdie". They were both really great! They did "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" a few years ago and also the "Sound Of Music". I wanna be in the musical sooooo bad, but it's right during basketball, but I'm thinking of being on stage crew instead!

I take drama classes in school, and I perform in the plays for that, but I don't try out for the school plays. There's way too much competition at my school, & I don't have enough time to dedicate to it.

I've been on the Tech Crew for plays like The Diary of Anne Frank and Our Town for Trinity Academy in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. I took two years off and I've decided to try for Tech Crew on the new Catholic Memorial Fall Play. I give the title soon but I will try for The Music Man in February 2002 at CMH.

It has to be hard for those at CMH who try out for each play at CMH. We have three per school year.

you go to Catholic Memorial?? I know one person who goes there. :) that's cool that you have 3 a year, cuz we only have 2! And it's usually most of the same ppl all the time, but it's still really fun! Well, not that I'd know, but that's what my friends tell me!

I have acted/sang/danced all my life, although not real frequently...just when opportunities arise.

I have been in:

a Vaudeville production (musicial variety, not really a play)

the "Safety Kids" play (this is an anti-drugs school play) I played Monique, the Safety Kids leader

The Wizard of Oz (I played Dorothy)

"Rock N Roll Revue" or something like that - I was in the ensemble, chorus type thing

Annie - I had 3 roles! lol - I played Pepper (the mean orphan), a maid in Daddy Warbucks mansion, as well as a NYC streetperson for one song. We were really undercast for this production, and it was hard during the costume changes - from one scene, this ratty orphan, to clean and tidy for the next as a maid!

I temporarily retired from Tech Crew last year because they were doing plays that I had already done and felt I would be too bored.

In 6th grade we did James and the Giant Peach play, and I was a cloud man :p hehe
7th grade we did the Wizard of OZ play, I was a Lullaby League person
8th gr. we did Robin Hood musical, and i got a really crudy part b/c I can't sing for beans. This was the first musical, and I thought that was stupid. I was a puppeteer person, a crowd person and a merry man he-he :rolleyes: all my parts were all added. this year in HS theres a play play and a musical play. I'm just doing the play-play, b/c I think I can act pretty good.

I love being on stage (I'm actually a terrible singer, but I always seem to get away with it :D). I've been in:

West Side Story - I was in the chorus
The Boyfriend - I was Maisie
Bugsy Malone - Only an understudy :( (but it boosts my resume ;) )
Oliver - Chorus again
Frankenstein (:eek: ) - Elizabeth

There's a great drama department at college, so hopefully I'll be able to do loads more there. :D

I'm into TV production and TV Broadcasting. Im also in theatre but havent tired out for any of the school plays cuz im too dedicated in sports for now but that might change later.

I love acting and have been in lots of plays. Besides soccer I spend most my time at the theater.
I'm also a fan of brodcating. At my school (It's a magnet school) we all sorts of brodcasts and have been on TV a couple times. It's real neat.

I love being in Musicals. So far I have been in three at my dance center. Annie - I played Annie, The Sound of Music - I played Brigita, The Music Man - we were really undercast so I played lots of different rolls. I was also in a play put on by SCYT. We did Oklahoma and I was a lead dancer.

I am really into the arts, not the drawling I can only draw stick figures hehe!:D I have gone to a acting camp and played Sandy cheecks on Spongbob because we had to be a animatied charachter. Also I was a butterfly for a school play. I have had some fun. I have also been in chours forever. I am also offered to be in a high school singing play and I am in Middle school 8th grade.;)

Well, I'm not a big performer but I've been in an Amateur Dramatics production of 'Robinson Crusoe' where I danced and sang(I hate singing!!lol) and a school production of 'Little Shop Of Horrors' where I was a 'forget-me-not'. (Don't ask!):rolleyes: I also helped out with the set for LSOH and a school production of 'Ulysees', which I really enjoyed.

I find plays etc. really exciting but I've decided that I definitely prefer being BEHIND the scenes rather than on stage-I'm just too shy!! lol:( :)
