Aloha! :wave2:
We are considering this for our DVC Exchange in England next August. It seems to be the ONLY DVC location in London. Can anyone provide info about condition or location? Also, are many museums, etc closed during August? We wanted to combine a week in London with BEATLE WEEK in Liverpool.:cloud9:
Thanks!!:earsgirl:

Sorry can't comment on location or condition but can say all Museums, Art Galleries etc should be open in August - they may be a bit busy as this is summer vacation time for schooll children. However - you probably won't feel the humidity and heat - not in the UK!!!!! Liverpool is a great city - try visitng the Albert Dock area which has been renovaed and is full of trendy eateries and shops. Have a great time!

Have a great time. We have an exchange booked in UK in February but at the seaside (as we live in London we wanted a change) but with not much travel costs!!! You can go to Disneyland Paris too on points as we are doing in two weeks time!!

Just remember that due to the exchange rate your spending money may not go too far!!!

Enjoy yourselves and come back here to let us know how you get on.

Loads of love Susan

Aloha! :wave2:
Thank you both for your kind wishes and great info!

Have you any idea how I could track down more about Club Sunterra. London? Perhaps a UK website with traveler reviews?

I'm wondering if ANY DVCers have stayed there yet?

The location of Carlton Court is IMHO quite poor - it would be like staying in Queens rather than Manhattten on a visit to New York. Interval International, whom DVC exchanges through, does have other resorts in London (Fraser Place (II code LMV); Somerset Bayswater (BAW); Somerset Queensgate Gardens (SGG)) which although not particularly central are in better locations.

You might be better off renting off another timehare owner and renting your DVC points to pay for it. See the ad for Allen House on the Timeshare Users Group Board http://www.tug1.org/tugads/1-9dposted1.html#ad41173

Good luck.

Thanks so much...this is exactly what worried me! However, it is the ONLY listing offered for London thru DVC MEMBER WEBSITE so I feared it was our only option. The Allen House sounds great and renting our 210 BCV pts would cover the cost. Thanks for the ideas and congrats on all your happy news!
