The longest time share stay that I have ever been on is 10 days. You can google a search for disney rental villas and I know that someone will book you with no problem...

A lot of homeowners in Celebration have garage apartments. Some are studios and some are one/two bedrooms. Most rent for between $800 and $1200 per month, usually including all utilities.

You can check listings on http://www.garageapartments.com or try to contact Town Hall in Celebration where people list their apartments for rent. Or go to the Celebration forum at http://www.34747forum.com/forum and post a request.

Good luck!

Susan

Their best bet would be to find a person who owns a home/condo that rents it out. My parents do this. They have a 3 BR condo in Naples, and since they are teachers, they cannot use it at all during the school year. They rent it out for a minimum of 3 months at a time. They advertise in the Sunday paper around here, so maybe check your paper under "vacation rentals".
Hope that helps-
Jen

there are a couple of Disers who rent their vacation houses

Jan is one.

or you can look here

www.vrbo.com

they can also go the apartment way - there are apartment in the area.
that they can probably get a 6 month lease for - ask.

Companies like www.DoOrlando.com and www.vrbo.com may cut you a deal on a lengthy stay at one of their vacation homes, I would talk to them. I've used DoOrlando twice this year with no problems, great people! I've never used vrbo.com but I see their name a lot on these boards.

Orlando Time in less than 2 months! :cool1:

If you do some research and find some of the retirements parks in the area, most of them have rentals listed in their park offices. My parents own in Winter Haven and used to rent theirs before they retired full time. Many of these parks have pools, golf courses, clubhouses, organized activities, etc.
