I was at this thing called Spam Cook-Off and I didn't know what spam was so I just like said i'll make spam candy corn and somebody said that they were going to throw up. And then i said "btw what's spam?" and said omg that's not even funny. And then she said that I want all the attention just because I didn't know what it was!! Then the owner boot me. How unfair.

By the way, Spam that you would cook is a ham product that comes in a can.

Actually direct from the can (runs to the pantry) it says ...

they took it off! it used to say "spiced pork shoulder"!

FYI the ingredients are:pork with ham, salt, water, midified potato starch, sugar, and sodium nitrate.

Fewer ingredients than most foods. LOL

It also says on the can, under the spamburger recipe:
So, now that you know another of the many secrets of SPAM, this knowledge carries much responsibility. It gives you the power to feed yourself and others. You wield a delicious skill that has far-reaching consequences. Please do not use it for evil.

LOL!

True, which is why I said ham product! lol

Isn't ham considered a form of pork? Same beast! Well, maybe not when it involves Spam. lol Gotta love a good dose of sodium nitrate. Yum! lol

Funny when I was a kid spam was for cheap meals when things were tight on the budget. I look at the price now and it is more of a unique item priced way too high, My do times change. However would never consider eating it again even if the Yuppies eat it now. :)

I remember those days...We ate LOTS of SPAM as kids! :rotfl2: However, it is still one of my favorite foods :) Fried, of course!
