The Disney World website now has a short video of Tapestry of Dreams up. It looks like an additional character was simply edited into existing footage, with the old music (!), but it's still worth a look.

I'm glad the kept the music. That's the best part of the parade! I can't wiat to see ToD, it looks great! :)

are you referring to the KidCot compasses with the dream coins one of the characters is collecting?

Hey- we were at Epcot Sunday night, and I guess we saw a transitional hybrid parade.

The talkover stuff in the introduction was new, and really emphasized "dreams."

But some of the talk over stuff was the same "...come, dance with us!" and it still referred to the parade as tapestry of nations.

The music was the same.

Most of the puppets were the same, but some were new/redesigned.

There was a new dream character leading out front.

I thought that maybe they have re-done a few of the puppets and will continue doing so over the next couple of weeks, using more and more new/redone ones and fewer old ones up until the opening.

Some of the redo's were pretty freaky looking, fwiw.

I just saw the video for the first time, and it looks great! Other than the change to the "main character" of the parade, very few changes are being made to ToN/ToD. Can't wait to see the new parade next month! :)

This is my 200th post so it shold be about my most favorite thing, ToN. I am mad that The Sage of Time will be removed from it, but as for the redone puppets, I hope they don't redo them so much they don't repasent the past ones. I still want Bird Man to look like Bird Man. Aztec Man should look like Aztec Man. As for the removal of the puppets, that is probalbly the reason why I didn't see as many of some puppets as I hoped. Oh, well, hope this new one is better...
