Disney Precious Moments

Hi,
I had a question for anyone who attended the Precious Moments event this past September (or really anyone who would know the answer.) Will they be releasing any of these to the general public. I was able to get on the wish list and got one of the pieces I wanted but really wanted the big piece of the boy and girl eating the sticky mickeys. I thought I read somewhere that that piece would only be available at the parks and if so, does anyone know when they would they be available. Sorry for all the questions but I just love that piece and want to add it to my collection. Two of my favorite collections rolled into one...does it get any better than that?

All four pieces from the event are for sale at the DTD Disney Gallery store. the main difference between pieces from event and piece for sale at store is the first 1000 pieces of the kids with mickey ice cream and balloon had a special stamp on them.

But you can get the piece, however, only on disney property. You cannot buy them at a Hallmark etc.

There were very few items left after the event...not enough were made to meet the demand....the few that the Art of Disney galleries had, quickly sold out...None of these items are expected to back in stock anywhere until mid to late November....The Gallery's have a "wish list" so anyone wanting to be notified when they come can have their name added to.....and they are very cute!!!

I know that quite a few have their names added already at the DTD gallery, you might want to try that...

Does anyone know if they have changed the manufacturing process for Precious Moments? There were some issues with earlier pieces in that they could not withstand a Nerf gun attack. Before any more of these are allowed in our house I want to see a certificate from the manufacturer that they have been thoroughly tested using the Nerf Gattling Gun and from what range. I'm not going to go through another Super Glue episode like last time. You try explaining why the little boy's head is on backwards and two of your fingers are stuck together. No insurance company in the world would accept my explanations.

Why don't you apply for the Nerf Gatlin Gun tester at Precious Moments? I believe the SuperGluer position has already been filled.

You are probably right on that Super Glue position. I heard that position was not even advertised. They gave it to a friend who already worked there. You know how those glue guys all stick together.

The Nerf one though, now that has potential. I wonder if I can get my own business cards:

They should start coming in anytime...so they say to the Art Of Disney at DTD....we have had a few dribs, and drabs, but the best way to get them is to call the gallery and have them ship....they ship all over the world...that way you can get them all at once....

Their number is 407-828-3929..I would wait at least another week, before calling....and good luck

I hope you get one. A co-workers sister that is a CM got me one back in Sept. signed and I paid $75 for it. It is the cutest thing. As already stated......Disney and Precious what a great combo. Have to check out the Gallery for the other ones when we go in Dec.

I stopped in at the Art of Disney on Wed morning (12/7/05) and spoke to a CM who stated that they had not received them in yet. She said they were promised for delivery the 1st week of November. They are taking names and phone #s but are not promising anything until possibly March 2006. :confused3

On a positive note, they are not limited editions so they will be available for a while.
