To those of you who lost your BR deposit

I read today that some people took advantage of the new package and lost their BR deposit. Could you have booked the new package and just kept the BR for the 1 night. Even though it would have cost more, it seemed better than losing your deposit? I am just wondering because I currently have a BR reservation too and it would drive me crazy to lose my $89 deposit but I do want to take advantage of the new package. Please let me know what to do and why you chose to lose your deposit.

I was in the same situation. I was booked at POP using BRP 11/8 - 11/12. Luckily for me, I am also going on a Disney Cruise in January. The CM was able to change my BRP to 1 night and move it to January. So now I have somewhere to stay the night before my cruise and didn't have to lose my deposit.

My only problem now is that I need to diet to compensate for all the food I'm going to be eating on the dining plan!! :banana: :banana:
