Hello everyone-since this is a hot topic- I though I would share.
I just called the Disney Res Line and was able to apply this code to my exsisting reservation. I have a Magic your way package booked in Nov, (4 nites/standard view @ AKL and 1 day park tickets for 3 adults and 1 child). I was told that this is a discount code for package deals only-not a room only code. My total cost before code was $ 1312.31 and now it is $962.75!!! Savings of $349.56!!

:confused3 I just tried to change mine and Chuck (cm) said the code is unavailable, lucky you for getting in early, hopefully they dont throw it out for being early like some other problems i have heard with things like ADRs and what not!

:) She said that they know the code is there but the system is not updated with the information so they are not able to apply to packages to see if it will help AAA packages. She will let me know as soon as she can get the update. Our AAA offices close at 10 EST so I am guessing tomorrow a.m. Congrats to everyone who gets a good deal out of this!

Wow, that's about 26% if I figured it right. That would be a little over $500 savings for me. I hope my TA gets on that first thing in the morning! I could do a lot of secret Christmas shopping with that $500 while we're there!

Well, for one thing, Disney CMs usually seem to be the last to know about things like upcoming discounts. They probably keep them in the dark so they won't be telling people who call to book on A day to hang on and wait for B day because they'll get their room cheaper then.

yes, if it is under 45 days there might be a fee for changes, search these boards and see if it is worth it to you. I know some picked a credit to their room that they burned off on their vacation, they should be able to credit the card you paid with.

Since the CM was so specific, that is certainly possible. In my experience with codes, though -- which admitedly is much less significant than others here -- some CMs are about as reliable on the subject as someone you might run into on the street.

Just an FYI...if you look at the latest update (as of 11/28) on mousesavers.com, Mary notes that some dates might not be available at the discount since the resorts are so booked already. She also notes that even if you already have a reservation, it doesn't mean you're guaranteed to get the discount applied.

We are in a similar situation to yours - we arrive 11/27 and depart on 12/4 - when I've checked availability at other resorts, the choices are pretty limited. AKL isn't showing anything at all.

I have a AAA discount already, but am hoping I can take advantage of this one if it's better. Hope this helps you.

I am in the same boat as well with the WL. Even trying to be flexible the availability that week is so slim at all of the deluxes (most are booked solid that first weekend in December where the discount doesn't apply so even if there was availability in the earlier part of the week we would run into trouble getting a full 6 nights somewhere)--I am really hoping this doesn't mean we are all locked out of getting a discount even with some flexibility:(

We are staying at CBR and that has availability but we are staying 2 nights into a "blackout" period.... wondering how they would work that. My agent is checking for me this morning. She didn't know about the discount but I told her that I have NO life and spend way too much time "dis'sing". I think I'll call this morning and give her the code.

What dates are you going? Maybe it's because we leave on the 5th and the deal shows to the 4th (but I thought since we only need thru the night of the 4th maybe we'd be okay).

I'm not that disappointed, since I figured it probably wouldn't help us, we have room only ressies with a AAA discount, and want 10-day hopper no-expire tickets.

No Deluxes were available for our dates at all (unless I split my stay). We are going 11/29 - 12/7. Concierge wasn't available at all. So, I'll stick with my AAA package plus dining which saved me $615 and go have a blast!!!!!!!!!

However, I did get my best friend (who also has triplets) the special deal for her dates of 12/4-12/7. 4 nights, 4 day hoppers, and dining all came out to around $3000 for the BWI, GF, and Poly. She's deciding which one she wants now.
