Day Ten - MGM

We have a lie in this morning and then go and do shopping as we have decided to go to MGM later this afternoon so I can watch the Stars & Motors Parade and Fantasmic.

It was quite nice travelling to Disney late afternoon, the bus was empty and it felt less frantic than in the morning when you are trying to get there early. We arrive at MGM about 25 minutes before the parade so after getting an ice cream we find a place to stand and watch but as we expected a lot of the good spots had gone. I find a place on the kerb but we are staring into the sun which is not that good for photos but at least I did get a good view of the parade.

We go and watch Beauty and the Beast and this was a lot better than I expected I really enjoyed it. By now people were heading to get their seats for Fantasmic so we think we had better go and find some, we end up being there an hour and a half early as a cm had told us to get a good seat you need to be there an hour early but to be honest people were coming in at the last minute and just going to sit down the front and also it was too long to wait. Saying that we really enjoyed it and it was well worth the wait.

I'm ashamed to say that, even after two trips to Orlando now, I have still never seen a Disney parade. Maybe next year? We saw some great comedians this year, at MGM - did you happen to see them?

Joh, we didn't see any but then we didn't get there until about half past four and stayed mainly in the one area.
