AP Room discount question

My husband and I will be upgrading our tickets to AP's during our november trip. I am thinking of suprising my hubby with his long dreamed about contemporary stay for our Fifth anniversary in april. Can anyone tell me how far out the discounts are usually offered for AP holders? Are there ever disounts for concierge level service? TIA for any info!!

AP discounts must now be booked at a min 60 days in advance thru Best Rate program online. So unless you are going at the end of November, its too late to get a discount. Rumor has it that the old call in AP rates are a thing of the past.
And concierge level service is offered on the AP program.

Please help! So with this deal that might be announced Sept. 29, can I get some $ off my AAA room price at Poly? I'm thinking not. It is really hard to figure it all out !!!!!!!!! What do you think?

Our anniversary is in April 2006, we will be purchasing our AP's this November. What I was trying to determine is how far in ADVANCE do they release AP rates for rooms? Glad to hear they are good for concierge level :goodvibes

I have read several times that people think AP rates are a thing of the past, but aren't they still being offered for dates through December (or maybe later)?

This is confusing because although I want to get an AP before our April 2006 trip, I want to avoid the non-refundable deposit with the Best Rate program if I can just wait for an AP rate.

Just wondering what you experts think?
