Disney Resort; Oct 5th - 8th

I'm new to the Disney resorts, and my aunt wants to choose the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Any opinions? I'm also curious if the Florida Resident Rate is the cheapest out there besides AP rates? Would AAA be cheaper or? The rate for these dates I got was $195/night.

We've now looked into the Swan .... sooo many hotels, I'm SO confused :( And we leave in two days, LOL

The Swan is nice, but is not and"official" WDW resort, meaning that they will let you in for EMH (I think), but I know for a fact that you cannot charge everything back to your room via your room key like you can at the official WDW hotels. That said, it is a LOT more convenient than AKL, IMO, and also has the "heavenly beds". Good luck! WE'll be there during that time, staying at the CR.
