Some of you have been asking about this new menu. Well here it is. This is the dinner menu they served on Int'l Night on the Magic from our 9/10/05 Western cruise.

Relax! No flames please. We did NOT steal it. We kindly asked (begged :worship: ) our server for it. Apparently we weren't the only ones asking either. These were pretty popular.

It makes such a great souvenir, don't it?

Wow that looks great!

Do they have Beef Tenderloin nearly every night? It seems it is on every menu I see? I am not complaining! That was my favorite meal on Royal Caribbean!

This menu has the same offerings as prior menus. I was hoping for something different (but it sure is prettier than it was before!)

Was there a dessert listing as well? It seems very similar to the Best of Master Chefs menu with a couple of interesting additions. I want to order two of everything please. :)

On our cruise last week, Aleks, our server, had the cook do my filet up special. He had it bacon-wrapped and covered with sauted mushrooms and onions. It was probably the best meal I had all week. Mmmm... To top it off, he went to Palo and brought back 2 chocolate souffles for me and my husband. We'll be requesting him on our next cruise.

Aleks was trying very hard to make the trip special for us; we'd had problems earlier in the week with another set of servers, plus my cruise fun had been hampered by a fall while on Grand Cayman (found out after we got home that I'd fractured my foot). We hadn't been able to carve out time to go to Palo all week and during the galley tour earlier that day, Eldon (the Palo chef) told me to tell Aleks to come see him after he'd served our main course.

If we had not switched our seating from early to late, we would have had Ivan and Paola as servers... they were great that first night, and I have heard others brag on them. Must be something about servers from Croatia...

One dessert from that night was Baked Alaska which was pretty good.

Thanks very much. Since the Deep Dish Apple-Cranberry Pie was listed under the Chef's Selections on your pictures I wasn't sure and thought I'd ask. Not that I'm a dessert addict or anything. :rotfl2:

I agree it is a very pretty menu. I asked my server if I could keep mine and he said "I'll get you a fresh one". It is my favorite trinket from our cruise.

So... is it fine for anyone to ask to keep a menu?

I don't know if it is fine or not, but it doesn't hurt to ask? I've heard of people getting copies of the directory in the staterooms. The staff on the ship is very accomodating. I guess it just the Disney "magic" :cheer2:

Karen, was it Aleksander from Croatia (and Kendall as assistant)??? We had him too, and he was the BEST!!!!!!

(on a side note, we also asked him last week if we would be allowed to purchase one of those "'Til We Meet Again" menus, and he said that they had none to spare. Because they had allowed several people to take them on previous cruises, they were actually short, and some people had to share menues! So I guess the OP was one of the lucky ones to get them!) Thanks, OP for sharing. It brings me back to the Magic...I miss it so much already!

Christal: yes, we had the team of Aleksander and Kendell. They were great. Aleks even pushed me all the way back to our room after dinner the first night we had him (Tuesday). Hubby had to carry a sleeping child, so couldn't push me, and Aleks went with us all the way to the 8th floor, forward elevators! I thought that was definitely above and beyond.

I'm missing the ship, too. (Or am I missing having someone else making the beds and cooking for me??)
