When should I request my rm, we are booking tonight, should I email it, call?
Anyone have a good suggestion for the 'perfect' room with a view of the parks? Thanks!

I like room 1740 for a park view. I usually request a few weeks in advance of my trip.

I wrote down this one to put it on my reservation!! hope I get it :banana: :banana: :banana: Just booked RPR & AKL, OoooO the money!

I faxed them a room request about five days before I went. I asked for a room in Tower one on an upper floor with a view of the park. Then I gave them some room numbers: 1733,1729. 1633,1629. We got 1633. It is far from the elevator, but is right next to the stairway that takes you to the waking path to the parks.

What exactly did you write on the fax?
We're calling today, and I'll try to send them on a fax today/tomm with ours rm # requests. Going to include 1733/1633/1729/1629 (I'd written these down but wasn't sure earlier) as well as 1740 (this was my list of five, actually, before this thread LOL) .. but do we just include our name and the room #s on the fax?

I included my name and reservation number on the fax and as stated, asked for a room in Tower One with a park view and then listed the room numbers I would really like.

well family member decided to call and they forgot to fax (again..)
but she did say they told her they don't take requests on a specific rm so she told them tower 1 & park view.

Does anyone know if I can email the HRH. I don't want a room on any floor with dogs, my daughters are terrified of any and all dogs.

the only floor that hrh allows dogs on is the 5th floor.
very few were there on the columbus day weekend. only saw 3 the entire 4 days there.
i was on the 7th but did have dogs going up to my floor twice.

front desk will not put you on floor 5 if you tell them you don't want to be near cats or dogs.
