am I the only person not in school?

I know this isn't Disney related but I am going crazy here. I don't go back to school until the 17th. Now it might be pushed back until October 1st. Is everyone in school? I was just wondering, seeing if I wasn't alone lol.

I started on September 5, but I have a friend who is going to start in early to October because of construction at his school, so don't worry! you're not the only one! :)

My school's been under construction for the past year. They waited until the summer to do the hazardous work. Of course my lovely high school is a couple weeks behind schedule. I know this sounds crazy, but I wish I was in school! We have to make up all these days, and we planned a trip to Disney on days I have off from school. Well now those days are half days so I'm gonna be missing work. AFgirl, it says you live outside Philadelphia, does your friend go to Phoenexville by any chance?

I had to start before Labor Day but we have a lot of days off of school because of Faculty Retreat or Student Assisstance day or something.

We're not allowed to go to school in July, so most of the days off we were supposed to have are now going to be half days. Our last day of school will probably still be in the middle of June. But I think we now have 2 days for Spring Break. There are all these rumors flying around, no one knows what's true. Be thankful you are in school!!!

They are testing year round schools here in Wisconsin. Now that is nuts!!!!

YEAR round?? Now that would make me crazy! They've suggested that and uniforms for my schools, but knowing my great school district that won't happen for a LONG time. Give us ceilings and then I'll think about uniforms.

I'm not going to a year round school!! I am just saying that they are testing year-round schools in Wisconsin.

I totally hope that they don't change the schools here to year round!! My cousin has that and she lives in Cali!!!! She goes for like 3 months, then has a month off, then back for 3 months and another month off after that for the WHOLE year! I guess that wouldn't be too bad, but I really hope it doesn't happen in WI!!!!

we went back the 29 of august...if they have year round schools we should have a year off equal trade.

yeah to do year-around school everyone would ahev to do it...b/c parents would go crazy! and i think year-around school is sstupid

oh yeah..i started back on August 16th...i would HATE to start in October...im sorry but you wouldnt get out until almost july...and im complaining about getting out 3 days after memorial day!

With MPS schoole the parents come to this huge building to sign up their kid to send them to a certain public school in the Milwaukee area so I guess it is the parents' choice.

Well, at least I don't go an MPS school! But we started back Aug 29th and we get out in early June. Sorry that you have to start in October, but look on the bright side....now you can watch like the first couple of days of Live With Regis And Kelly cuz they're gonna be in Disney!!!!

I started on the august 29th. We get out June 7th. I don't think I'd wanna do the year round school thing, cuz how would that work with sports? I mean you could end up not having school for half of football season or something. Wouldn't that kinda mess it up?

my friend doesn't go to Phoinexvillie- he goes to Marple Newton- omg that's so cool you live in Phoniexvillie! I live in the Main Line area- ya know- w/ all the private school that have to wear uniforms- lol- just had to comment on your uniform comment- hehe- it's actually not that bad!! :) well talk to ya later!
