Safety pin series still available?

In Jan. I traded for several pins in the Timon/Pumba safety series. They are only available from cast members. Does anyone know if they are still around (we leave for the World in 4 days)?

I was at WDW two weeks ago for a full week and did not see a single pin of them ... you might want to try your luck on www.pinpics.com trading for them ....

We traded away a bunch of them last week at MK. My son decided he didn't want them anymore, so he got rid of them.

Yep, those pins are there but seem to be hit or miss.

You can buy safety pins at fabric stores like JoAnn's. I've also seen them at Walmart. :smooth:

I have a really cool safety pin with a ducky at the top. I use it to hold up one pair of pants that I lost the drawstring to. Sometimes when I get bored I talk to the duck but he never says anything back. Oddly enough though, when I am talking to the duck it makes people stop what they are doing. I have no idea what that means.

Maybe I could just put a few of those Walmart safety pins on my lanyard (maybe I'll even get lucky and find the ducky one!) and trade those! It would be a whole lot cheaper than buying the regular pins!!! :goodvibes

The safety series of pins are out there on lanyards but it's pretty slim pickings out there. Most traders have a few in their trader books that will be easy to trade for. Also most auction sites have them for a good price sometimes you can get a bunch in a pin lot.
