How will we deal with parking at the Convention?

Since some of the events are held at the Y&BC and some of us are staying offsite, how are we going to get into the Y&BC parking lot? Do we tell the guard we're with the DIS convention or will we do a RnRC "Whrrit!" and speed past him? :)

I'm just curious because I might drive around instead of using the Disney buses. How early do they run, BTW, for resort guests?

I was thinking I would park at BWV since I am a member of DVC and have free Valet Parking. But I may just park at Y&BC and pay to save on the walk. Even though it isn't that far.

That will be on TOT night only though, because I don't think I will be able to get transportation back to VWL that night. I will probably use Disney Transportation for the rest of the trip.

Yikes, quite a few questions regarding transportation.

I have thought about renting a car, but this sounds like another hassle (besides not knowing where to go :rolleyes: ;) ) that I can live without.

We plan on using the WDW transportation, and when that isn't 'feasable' (sp?), then we'll take a cab.......is this going to 'nickle and dime' us to death??? :eek:

I plan (at this point) on renting a car. I would imagine that the guards at the Y&B will be aware that we have a convention going on, and will allow us to park there. I seem to remember trying to park there last December, and because there were several conventions going on, they only gave me a permit to park there for a couple of hours.

Probably the only day I won't use the car will be for the Thrill Ride Tour day. I just like the convenience of coming and going when I please.
