question about moved threads

how/why are threads moved to others boards?

Threads can only be moved by Moderators and Webmasters, the volunteers who help keep these boards running.

Often a user will create a thread on a topic that is more applicable to a different board. Thus a moderator/WM will move the thread to the appropriate board.
