Need advice on renting a car

We are already planning our vacation for next summer! We want to be at WDW for 4 nights, then we want to visit my brother's family in Fort Meyers for a few days, then return to WDW for another 4 nights. My question is how do we go about getting a rental car once we're at WDW? Any ideas? Also, which car rental company would you recommend. I am a Disney Club member and would like to be able to take advantage of any discounts as well. Thank you in advance for any help with this question. :) :) :)

there is a national car rental on sight at disney. you can rent from them.

Thank you travelcoupons! :) We are going to stay at the Grand Floridian. Any ideas about how we would get from the Grand to the car care center or Dolphin? I guess I could go to the Dolphin, pick up the car and drive the car to the Grand to gather the rest of my luggage and then be on my way? I thought I was such a good vacation planner, but I've never had to rent a car before. Any ideas, anyone??

You will have to go and get the car. None of the companies deliver them to you.

The National office at the WDW Car Care Center will send a shuttle for you at your resort. Reservations for the car can be made at 800-227-7368. You must call 407-824-3470 at least two hours in advance to make a reservation for the shuttle to pick you up. Shuttle runs 7:30am to 6:00pm daily.

You can also take a WDW bus to the Dolphin Hotel from any park to use the National office there. I believe the office there closes around 3:30 pm or so. Call the same number (800-227-7368) for reservations.
