We've always flown through O'Hare but this time we're going to Midway. I understand that it's quite a bit smaller. Since our airline {American Trans Air} doesn't have meals, is there somewhere to feed the kids at Midway and if so, what kinds of food do they offer {I have a picky eater}? I was thinking about just packing breakfast/lunch.

Hi, I unfortunately travel out of Midway regularly. The airport is very torn up because of construction and you have to walk a very long way to the terminals. The food choices are few, there are carts with Pretzels, chips, nachos, sandwiches and drinks that are extremely overpriced. The sandwiches are bad at best. Before you enter the actual terminals there is a "food court" with burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and I think Pizza. It too is overpriced, but it isn't too bad. There is no seating in the food court and it is always very crowded. I would reccomend stopping at your favorite sub shop on the way to the airport and taking something with you......I hope this helps!:jester:
