These pictures are amazing. If it looked like this coming into Alabama, I can't imagine what it was like in Louisiana.

someone posted these pics another time I think. That isn't what a hurricane looks like.
Fascinating pics though.

At least they morphed the supposed location from New Orleans to Alabama!!!
Seriously, those are "supercells" or "wall clouds" that are often seen with tornadoes. I've seen some in our backyard!!
Hurricanes don't look like that.

I live here in FL and I've seen clouds like that many times....on my television while watching some cool show on the Discovery Channel or the Weather Channel about TORNADOES.

I saw those--very freaky as I've never understood what a storm surge does (other than damage) and now I do.

Im doing fine and you? My family back home is safe and healthy but dealing with insurance and FEMA which isnt fun. FEMA says ins co will cover the damage so they are not helping and the ins co is saying no its not covered. My mom and dad are at theirs wits end......UGH!
Those are cool pics! Mother Nature is awesome in her mighty power and really is beautiful but the damage caused by her is becoming unbearable.
