RPR Oct 2006...and yes I know I'm planning ahead!!

I still can't get over the fact that 10/5/06 at the RPR is starting at a rate of $229 plus tax per night! Is this a "normal" price for RPR? I know that there are no discounts out yet, but when I went in '04 it was only $125! Maybe I'll be brave and wait until January to book...

Don't fret. Discounts will come out; either AAA or APH, etc. Also, you may want to look at packages. We got a great package for this October 2005. 3 nights at RPR plus 2 adult and 2 child theme park tickets for 5 consecutive days plus kids eat free during our stay. The total price for our package with tax included was $774. I feel like that is a great deal!!!

Don't forget, you can book at that (higher) rate, and then call back -- if there is a better rate, you can change to the better rate. I did this twice already with my reservation on 10-05. :goodvibes

Prices have gone up quite a bit the last couple years. You'll likely be able to get $159/$179 when the time comes but I highly doubt you'll see lower than that especially during October.
