Is she going close to any of the shelters? And if she does----will they have on hand counselors and such to help the people through the trauma--preferably while it is happening--not after it clears. I imagine a lot of people--especially children--will need some hand-holding and hugs during a major storm. I hope WHOEVER is in charge in Texas (not looking for a debate here) thinks about the emotional impact to Katrina victims of being anywhere near another huge storm.

They are evacuating the Katrina victims who are still left in the Texas shelters.
