Has anyone booked a fly drive with mytravel before? Its the first time we have done this. Flying Belfast to Sanford.
We got our flight tickets through yesterday :Pinkbounc (flying out Oct 14th) but there was no mention of the car hire, apart from it stating "fly - drive" on the tickets. Do you normally get seperate details through, a reference, where to go, insurance details etc?
Thanks!

We've booked a fly drive with Direct Holidays, a subsidiary of MyTravel who use their planes, and have just received our tickets.
Along with the tickets was a printout of the itinerary [flight times, passenger numbers, reference nos, etc.] Stapled to this was a "Car Hire Voucher", giving details of the type of car, and pick-up and drop-off times. This is what we will hand to the Dollar desk.
If the voucher hadn't been there, I would be concerned and would phone them.

I think the last time we went with Airtours, we picked up info from the rep at the airport.
This year we went with Thomsons, we just got a ticket book, it had a page which said car hire and upgrade to full size plus the hotel we were staying in. We were met by a Thomsons rep who gave us a booklet. On the front of the booklet had a couple of references, we just shown that to the Alamo guy and got the car. There was a bit of confusion at the hotel though when showing the same booklet, we ended up showing them the page in the ticket book. I don't think the girl on the desk had seen a voucher like ours before, worked out okay though.

I called them today and they said that there will be a rep in the airport who will give us a voucher which we hand in at the Dollar desk. Lets hope they are right!
Thanks for your help. :)
