Anyone on there way to DL? I was wodering if anyone would send my girls a postcard from Mickey. I would be happy to return the favor. We are on our way to DL Oct.4-8. Thanks :earsgirl:

You send a postcard to someones home address to their children from Mickey. I always write something like can't wait to see you! You mail it from DL? Would you like one? pm me if so.

On main street they have stamps and a mailbox. The mailbox was on a light post in front of the city hall. I sent my kids postcards. They have Disney stamps avalible in the opera house (the building where the 50 years of magic exhibit was in) from avending machine, and my kids got a kick out of those. The only problem was they didn't come on the same day and so my son was upset and asking where his postcard was :confused3 . The cast members should be able to direct you. I'm pretty sure there must be more than one mailbox.

When we were in disneyland, we sent postcards to everyone at the beginning of our trip, including one to ourselves.

We totally forgot about it until we got home. The message we wrote to ourselves was funny on the trip, but was depressing to read when we got home.

Here is what it said:
"If you are reading this, life sucks! Vacation is over and work has begun."

Thanks everyone! so I have to ask: where do you get your postcards? Do you bring some from home, or do you purchase Disney ones there?

Just a note about the mailboxes @ Disneyland. The postmark will say Anaheim on it, since the mail gets sent by the Anaheim post office ... still, it's fun to get a postcard from Mickey. :)

We will be in the park next Friday and Saturday; that may be too late for you. If not, I would be happy to do it. What a great idea!

We got our postcards! It was great to get these. My girls were so excited. Nothing like a postcard from Mickey! :earsgirl:
