Do you have a cell phone? If you do, what kind is it? (Verizon, T-mobil ect.) If you don't do you want one? I might be getting a cell for my birthday and was wondering what types of cell phones you guys have any you would recomend or something.

I have a Samsung, which I'm PRETTY sure is a Sprint. Not POSITIVE, though. I've had it since the Summer before 6th Grade, because I have so many activities away from my parents, and we could never get in contact.

We have cell phones and the phone you have is the ones we use as our home phones. (We don't have regular phones b/c my parents are too cheap to pay phone bills) They got themselves new cell phones, a new (cell) home phone.... but they didn't get me one :sad2: That's the price you have to pay when you have cheap parents :rolleyes: ;) lol

Anyways, yeah, I just got one. It's a Samsung x495, and I use the T-Mobile straight up prepaid stuff. Eh, it's alright. I just which I had more minutes to use (1000 minutes a year).

i just got a new cell phone. my old one was 5 years past warranty! make a call(and its on full batt.) for a minute, ten minutes later the batt. is dead! what a peice of crap! oh well, at least verizon gives decent reception no matter what phone

Just to clear something up for everyone, Cingular, Verizon, ect., those are wireless carriers. Samsung, LG, and Nextel are diffrent kinds of phones.

Hey This is Dumbofan91 I'm on my mom's computer and I can't log her out.
I have Cingluar. I use to have T-Mobile and it sucked. I live in NJ and I had crappy service and when I quit that service they charged me $200 dollars for no reason. Cingluar is a really great service.

last june (for my 17th bday) we got a family plan and i got a new phone.
we have at&t which is now cingular.. and my sis and i both got samsung phones model # SGH-X426... i wouldnt recommend this model to anyone since my sisters and my phones both broke 4 months after getting it.. my next phone would prob be a motorola

I have a phone similar to Melissa's only a camera phone and blue.. T-mobile.. I'm content with it.. I only got it because my sister went off to college last year.. we have unlimited family minutes and 500 shared anytime minutes(between my mom, sister, and I)

I only really use it to call my mom and sister.. it has come in handy in several emergencies though.. and the camera came in handy when my digi-cam died in the Met Art Museum last year right before I got to the room with Degas' works.. I took the pictures on my phone and sent them to my online album :)

I have whatever the family sprint plan is. Nothing special about it. It doesn't even have a camera in it. We're upgrading next month. Mine doesn't flip like what alot of you have. I didn't get a cell phone until the sophomore year! CRAZY! :rolleyes:
