My friend who lives in DC was given these pictures. I just cannot believe the omnious nature. Something hard to imagin unless you can see.

I agree, but have been wrong before (just once tho) This doesnt look like a hurricane

The eye alone was 40NM (30 miles) across so you wouldnt be able to see like what appears in those pictures the 'whole' hurricane. The whole hurricane when it his was 400 miles coverage.

They are very impressive pictures however, I am just not sure what they are really of.

Knew it!!! the landscape doesn't look like the gulfcoast, and it does look like a tornado!!

We all can be taken in occasional, no problem. Just check Snopes or Truthorfiction first. They are both REALLY good.

Cool pics but those are not pics of a hurricane. As far as you can see the sky is dark, cloudy, windy and wet when a hurricane comes ashore.

Although not Katrina, those are incredibly powerful and frightening photos.

The power of Mother Nature is pretty humbling.

Had no idea they wre bogus as my friend is usually on top of false info. he works with a company in DC that usually knows this type of thing. Sorry for the bad post. But agree I do not want to be near any of these. :flower:
