Busch Gardens Shuttle Bus

Hi everyone,
would be gratefull for any up to date info on shuttle bus time and pick up points for the Busch gardens shuttle bus. We will be staying in the LBV area and have a hire car but thought this may be an easier way to get there.
Is there a choice of return times or just once a day?

Hi

The busses run several times a day, leaving from various points - Sea World, The Mercado (on I-Drive), Orlando Pemium Outlets, Universal or Old Town in Kissimmee. Pick-up times are at intervals between 8 and 10.15am, returning at 6 or 7pm. There is a number you can phone to book it 1-800 221 1339. You need to phone at least 24 hours in advance.

Be warned, it does take about an hour and a half each way.

This bus is only free if you have a 5-park Flexticket, by the way.

I created a similar thread to this back in May or June before our trip in July. We've always used the car to get to Busch and, like you, were thinking of using the shuttle bus for a change.

The general consensus from my previous thread was that the bus was more trouble than it was worth - less flexibility, rowdy kids on the bus, eats into your day. Deciding factor was that we wanted to at Busch for close to opening and it didn't seem as if the bus would help achieve this.

I'm sure there will be others who swear by the bus but we ended up taking the car and don't regret it.
