AAA and APH rates questions

A few questions:

We are going to Universal May 27 and departing May 29-Memorial Day weekend.

1.Will AAA and APH rates apply as this is a holiday weekend?

2.How long in advance will the AAA and APH rates go into effect?

3. Which is the best value? We are already AAA members and I'm wondering if an APH is worth the extra 79-80$$$.

1.Will AAA and APH rates apply as this is a holiday weekend? I believe there are a limited # of rooms put aside at each rate (at least at WDW there is, don't know if the same applies to US/IOA) so the earlier you book, the better the chances.

2.How long in advance will the AAA and APH rates go into effect? It's been posted on other threads that AAA/APH rates should be released late fall/early winter. Keep an eye on this board as someone will post once they are released.

3. Which is the best value? We are already AAA members and I'm wondering if an APH is worth the extra 79-80$$$. I'd just use the AAA rate, but you can keep trying both and if the APH is better, then buy the AP before you check-in. When I booked for Dec., the AAA rate was the best. Then, a couple of months ago, the APH rate dropped to $5 below the AAA one, so I used that.
