This is a silly question, but I don't know the answer. We are traveling in Feb with 4 adults, 1 Jr, 3 children, and 1 senior. Most of the sites let you put in so many adults but most will not give you a qoute for children or seniors. When you are getting so many seats for different ages does this mean that I can't do it over the internet?

It would depend on the airlines, I think SWA will let you make reservations for up to 8 people online. Probably thedifferent sites have different policies. It might be easier to check online rates, and then call to book.:)

Many times the rates you see on line are only available on line. (If they are web only fares.) Those same flights can be a few dollars more when booking by phone.

I have 2 co-workers who are afraid to purchase things and give CC info on the internet. One of them travels frequently on SWA, and he calls them and explains his phobia and they have been really good about giving him the online rate. Co-worker #2 found a good online rate for Delta, she called and was told that the fares were only available online AND she had to join their frequent flyer club in order to purchase the tickets, she was unable to take advantage of the great deal. Different airlines have different policies:)

Sorry, missed the real question AGAIN, you will probably have a problem checking and reserving all of the different rate categories and trying to book online. There is no junior rate, he/she will be adult fare, some airlines may still offer very young child or senior rate.:)

Some airlines will give you a special rates/discount for a group of 9 or more. So it's always worth calling the airlines to check. I know United is one of them. We had a group of nine going and found it easier to have every one book under separate credit cards because we were flying Delta and at the time (they've changed) you could only book 4 per cc. Just remember, the person with the cc, MUST be one of the people flying in that group. It took a little figuring out, but it worked out with no problem. Actually the big kids just gave me their cc info and I did all of the booking myself, and seat assignments.
