Hi All ~ We are still planning 2006 April trip ~ where are all the codes? I'm dissapointed that I'll be 100lbs heavier this trip too. DD has been in Sick Kids way too much lately to postpone the trip any longer. S

Hi Sandra- I don't think you will see much in the way of codes anymore. Your best bet will be for a CAA discount.

Sorry to hear that Emily is spending so much time at the hospital.

Codes are pretty much a thing of the past especially with teh dining option that has been offered in the recent past.

Going in april too!!! starting april 8.... :cool1: I'm looking for any discount anyone can come up with, when we booked the trip I didn't know my infant would be diagnosed with tracheal stenosis and require surgery. We were going to cancel but hubby said we'd certainly need the vaction by then!!

TENIA66 ~ Our April 2006 trip depends on dd's heart operation ~ so I know how you feel. We are going back to hospital in Oct. I also went on meds and gained 100lbs! I'll be a little self-conscious on the rides at this weight.

I'm disappointed about the possiblity of NO CODES. When did that all happen? S

THis has bee in the works for over a year I would guess. With the addition of hte recently ended free dining plan I doubt you will see a room code ever again other than CAA rates even AP rates are few and far between.

Hi Sandra. Sending Emily :grouphug: Sorry to hear that she's not been well again. I'll be saying prayers for all of you.

It seems that lately Disney has been more focused on "packages" instead of individual room discounts. But don't give up hope. And yes, they've changed their AP rates for rooms too, such that I didn't even bother for an upcoming quick trip. It was just easier to book a AAA rate.

Don't get upset about the weight issue ... you have far more pressing things to use your energy on. Some meds are really awful with the side effects.

Try and get here more often ... we love to hear from you, and we'd like you to keep us posted on what's happening with your DD.

Hi Sandra,

Your dd will be in my prayers. Sick kids is a marvelous hospital, coming from a former "sick kid". I had my open heart surgery in 1980 there. Being a Mom and having had a child in sick kids too I have seen both sides of the spectrum and it is harder on the parents, us kids tend to forget it. ;)
