We will be in DL on the Columbus Day weekend and I was thinking of making reserv's for Goofy's kitchen character dinner. Can anyone tell me if this is a good place to eat? what is on the menu? and if it is suitable for the health concious? There will be 4 adults and no children. :wizard:

You know, I was not expecting many characters for some reason. I could not believe how many we saw. I would definitely say it was worth it. We were with a large party, and the 2 families we were with had never been there before. We all had a blast...(of course we had alot of little kids too.)

We saw (this was the earliest seating on Sunday) Max, Goofy, Rafiki, Minnie, Pluto was in the lobby, Aladdin, Mulan, and Timon. Many even came around twice. I had alot of my food that got cold because every time I started to eat, here comes ANOTHER character! It was great. :teeth:

We went to Goofy's kitchen for the first time last spring and it was sooooo awesome! We had never done a character meal before and I was concerned about the price but it was worth every penny!

My friend convinced me to try and get the very last available time they had before the end of breakfast. We got 11:30 and the restaurant was so empty. Everyone had already eaten and left. We basically had all the characters to ourselves. The Mad Hatter was totally hysterical and he hung out with us and played with the kids for an hour!! We saw all the other characters someone listed above except for Minnie. I guess we missed her. The food was great and the kids loved that they had some lunch items as well as breakfast items to choose from. We spent nearly two hours there and had the most fabulous time. No fighting to get time with characters.

On a side note, we did the Princess breakfast the next day and what a disaster and mostly a waste of money. We went at 8:30 and the lines were sooo long. The restaurant was packed full and no one could hardly move! The characters were being mobbed by people and forming lines instead of letting them go table to table to visit. I personally wouldn't do this one again.

I can't wait to do Goofy's again though! Hope that helps you decide.
