I washed my flowers today

Okay, actually I planted flowers. I pulled out my dying summer annuals and planted some mums. They look really nice, and they make me happy just thinking about how fall is almost here. :goodvibes It actually feels cooler outside with mums in the ground.

While I was planting flowers outside, DH was watching our boys inside. When I was almost finished and was just watering the new plants, Jacob, who's 2.5, looked out the window and realized he could see me. When I came in, he just wanted to talk about how mommy was outside washing the flowers. He was still talking about it when I put him to bed tonight. :rotfl:

That's VERY cute. I've had to do alot of washing my flowers this season with as little rain as we have had..LOL maybe jacob could wash the flowers next time.
Bought some mums yesterday for the front neighborhood bed. And 250 crocus bulbs for all the kids in the neighborhood to plant there. last year we did daffodils, kids had a ball and it sure looked great this spring.

Oh, how sweet :sunny: I washed my lawn a lot the past few days. We're thatching and overseeding. I have some mums blooming at the foot of the driveway. Looks like fall feels like summer :flower:
