I'm considering an easy first night at the resort dinner at Sal's Pizza instead of a big sit down. Can anyone give me any info? How is the pizza and what are the hours? Is there family style seating inside (air conditioning)? We'll be a party of 10 with 2 little ones, 7 and 2 - we'll all have been travelling in to FL or moving over from WDW that and day and just hangin at the pool since the parks close so early for HHN. Is this place a good idea? TIA :smooth:

We ate at Sal's and loved it. It was a nice atmosphere - really like you were in a pizzeria in Italy. The people who worked there were very friendly. The food was very good and the portions were not stingy. The desserts were great also. I would definitely recommend it. Have a great time.

Hi
Stayed at PBH last fall for 7 nights. They serve some of the best pizzas we have ever had. Fairly limited choice but excellent bases + quality toppings. Prices really low so excellent value. There is a smallish indoor eating area but some good tables outside overlooking the bay. One of the best kept secrets. Shame about the name though - Sal's does sound a bit downmarket somehow!!

Yummmmmm! Sal's pizza is delicious. We always enjoyed eating outside. There is some seating inside in the AC.

We have been to Sal's for an inexpensive meal and it filled that bill. If you are from the NY area then I would imagine you will find the pizza tolerable but lacking--if you're from NY you understand what I am saying. Take a stroll over to the Geleteria before it closes, they will fill a canoli while you wait and those are quite delicious.
