October weather

Have never been to Ft. wilderness in october and decided today to go for Columbus day weekend. will the weather still be hot, really want to pack light this trip. thanks.

:wave2: :smooth: We go every oct ,for mickeys not so scary halloween. The weather is usually great. Days are still 80s, nites down to the 60s,and not as much bugs.enjoy

We love to go in October! Take a pair of jeans and a light weight jacket.

Our fall trips are always in October, mostly around the middle of the month.

Weather and crowds usually perfect, sometimes cool at night.

We will be at FW around Oct 2nd, the kids at OKW this time.

Thanks! I hope that this time I don't overpack like I usually do. Looking forward to this 4 day weekend on Columbus day, its just 3 moms and 3 daughters. Should be fun!

I live in Orlando, And it is still in the low to mid 90's during the day. I wouldn't expect it to get lower then 87 or so in October. Nights are high 70;s

We tented camped in Oct 03 and are doing it again for 2 nights this Oct. It was perfect weather for camping. Really warm in the afternoons and cooled off enough at night to be very comfortable for sleeping.
