Hello,
I just started collecting disney pins a few months ago and I was wondering what a completer pin is? A cast member asked me if I would trade one of my cast exclusive pins for a fastpass pin. He said it was part of a pin quest that was cancelled?
Also, on my last visit I noticed that both parks had a pin trading cart where they give you 3 minutes to choose a pin to trade. Do they still have that or was that only for the summer?
Thank you in advance! :sunny:

A completer pin is one that finishes a set- in the case of the one with the Mickey Glove and Fastpass it was from the Pin Pursuit that was supposed to be on the 14thish that they canceled due to one of the other pins having a misspelling.
How it was supposed to work is you are given a map and have to go around to different places of the park and get a stamp and once you got all the stamps you would receive the pin for free. Theyve had several pursuits over the years- and they are pretty fun-
The pin boards were only for the summer celebration that was from mid june to mid august called magical moments- If tradition holds they will be back next summer (they've had them for the last 3 summers now)

I wish they'd have the boards every weekend or something. Or even better, have a cart set up in a permanent location, and open it randomly a few times a week throughout the year.

Thanks for the info! :earsboy: I've never participated in a pin quest but I heard from the cast member I traded with that the fastpass pin was absolutely chaotic. I asked him for more information on the pin but he didn't know much about it. He also told me "People are murdering each other to get this!"
I agree with the last post: I wish they had those pin carts all year round.

I've gotten most of mine thru eBay. Even the replica of the original CM badge that I got for 8 bucks. And it's my favorite, too.

That's a cute badge! :earsboy:
When I visit the parks I try to trade with cast members but most of the time they have already traded away the pins I'm looking for. Ebay is a good back up source to find the pins I like. :) I was told by a cast member that the small pin trading area on Main St. was completely packed and people were fighting to get to a cast member first to trade for the fastpass pin (I knew nothing about it since I was in the Golden Horseshoe at the time).
