new coasters at AK

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet or not, or if it falls into the BK theme. But, when DW and I were WDW in May there was construction going on back by the Tarzan Rocks area. Came accross a cm who told us that big things were instore for AK. Least of which was atleast two adult cosasters in the next 4 years. Know, I don't know if I believed her or not. But if true this might just be what AK needs to go to the next level.

Thanks for the confirmation, Scott & Peg. What you saw was likely construction for the new mini-coaster that is going into Dinoland for next summer (?) along with the new 'spinner' Primeaval Whirl.

We're all waiting for an official announcement from Disney about what they're going to do as the next step for AK, but so far all we can do is keep track of the rumors. Thanks for sharing what you heard.

The Cm I talked to by Trazan Rocks last week said the boy's
were welding on a dinasaur and behind that was going to be
a coaster.

I thought Triceratops Spin was the spinner (Dumbo/Alladin) and Primeval Whirl was the revolving (trying to avoid the word spinning) mouse coaster.

The mouse coaster is supposed to include a pass through a dinosaur's jaw. That be could be what the welders are working on.
