Does anyone have the phone number to make a ressie for a golf cart?

Anyone think I have a prayer for getting one for Nov 26 through Dec 3?

How much are they per day or is there a weekly rental rate?

Thanks! :goodvibes

You can rent golf carts from the Bike Barn by calling 1-407-824-2742. I think the price is $44 a day with a 10% discount for weekly rentals. My best advice is to call and try to get a reservation. I was sure we would never get one for our June trip, and just 2 weeks out we reserved one. Even if one isn't available now there are always cancellations, so keep trying. Good Luck and enjoy Fort Wilderness!

Considering the time you are going, I would say you have a pretty decent chance of getting one for at least part of your stay. It may be tight right after Thanksgiving, but the week after is traditionally pretty quiet. I would call ASAP for the reservation, though.

I just got one for the week following yours without any trouble, so I've got my fingers crossed for ya!

By the way, I called via the 1-800 number to check on my mom's reservation, and then they just transferred me to the Bike Barn. Hooray, no long distance fees!

CAN SOMEONE tell me - do the golf carts have seatbelts.

My hubby & I rented a golf cart for thanksgiving day and planned on traveling around the fort to see the various attractions. My son is 5, my daughter only 2. I want her to be safe. I suppose she could sit on Daddy's lap? Not really the best option with a squirmy child... but definitely didnt want to try to hoof it all over the fort with two kids. Is there a seat belt/child seat you can strap on there? :confused3

Nope, no seat belts. I've seen a few people bungee a carseat on but most of us hold the little rugrats tight and go. We haven't lost one yet--now I've had a couple of teenagers I wouldn't mind losing, but that's another story. :rotfl:
