Can I Buy Disney Dollars On-line?

I received a Webcertificate that I'd like to use to buy Disney Dollars. I can shop anywhere on-line that takes Master Card. I went to TDS on-line, but can't find DD anywhere. Am I doing something wrong or can I not "order" them that way. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, there is no way that I am aware of for you to purchase Disney Dollars on-line. :(
At one time, I read something that suggested that you purchase Gift Certificates for a Simon managed mall (you would have to see if there is one in your area and if there is a Disney Store in that mall) and then you could use those gift certificates to purchase the Disney Dollars at the Disney Store.
Don't know if that would work for you or not?

I went searching 'cause I have a Webcertificate too and I found this Simon Gift Certificates Page (https://secure.simon.com/gc/) . There is a search at the top of the page for a Simon Mall near you!

Thanks for searching. Unfortunately, there are no "Simon" malls with TDS anywhere near where I live (or plan to visit in the near future). I had e-mailed TDS customer service and they told me they did not sell on-line. I was hoping someone would know a way around it (as you did). Thanks again. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll find something to buy!

When you buy disney dollars, is there any disount on them, or is it just the convenience of having DD?

no discounts on D$...period...the only place I've ever found to buy them is at a Disney store or park.....I wish they'd make them in larger denominations then $10.......:(

pay the 6.95(i think that is what it is call the # on their web site) charge for the plastic webcertificate charge...take the card to the disney store to buy the disney dollars (works just like a mastercard)....thats what i am doing. or just take the card with you to disney...for meals etc until your bal. runs out

My mall is not a Simon mall but it did have a web site where I was able to purchase a GC and get the Disney Dollars. Just call your mall and see. Good luck.

Someone on the rewards board suggested that you take the webcertificate # (I hope you have what I think you have) its a long account # like a VISA or MAstercard (actually it is a MC or VISA of some sort)anyway take the # and expiration date to the Disney store the CM can punch in the # by hand instead of swiping it! I did that just last week and it worked like a charm:bounce: :bounce: I explained to the CM how I got the # and why I didn't have a card but I think I was losing her!!!:jester: the most important thing is taht it worked!!! I just wanted to thank you guys!! I also got a 100.00 webcert & wondered what "disney" thing could I do with it!!! If you have a larger balance you could use it to book travel on travelocity... anyways, our local mall had a website & I ordered gift certificates off their site! As soon as they come in, hopefully this week, we'll head over to the Disney Store for the Disney Dollars!
