How long does it take to get from POR to Grand Floridian?

Hi Christmas night we have reservations for Grand Floridian Character breakfast for the last sitting 8:45.I just realized now that our flight doesn't get to Mco until 630. How long does it take to get from the airport then to the resort.We would literally just drop our stuff and go.Does anyone think this is possible.We had to leave a deposit on a credit card so I can't play it by ear.
What is the transportation like at POR? If we left by 8:15 could e make it?

If you know your way around Orlando, from MCO to GF it's a good 45 minutes.

Just follow the signs. You should end up on SR-417 (tolls..) That takes you straight into the Florida's Turnpike and they'll be signs from there on leading you. Follow the signs to MK and from there to MK resorts.

I'm assuming you are getting to POR by limo or Mears, and will not have a rental car.

There is no direct transportation between POR and GF. You would have to take a bus from POR to a theme park, then transfer to another bus going to GF. It probably can't be done in 30 minutes.

I would suggest dropping your luggage at POR and have them call a taxi for you. The taxi ride would be about 15 minutes.
