Just in under a week the Red Cross has gotten $196 million dollars in contributions to help in the hurricane relief.

I'm sure they will get alot more. I am just impressed on how quickly everyone responded with there cash donations.

That is wonderful. I'll bet it goes through the stratosphere...I couldn't get their donor page to load for three days (no doubt because it was so busy! :) ), but was finally able to donate via Amazon's link.

That's great and dandy but I sure hope those people get the monies that have been sent in. RC has an extremely high overhead and a lot of that money will sit just like some of the money from 9/11. That's why I wouldn't give them a dime.
