What stores in your areas are matching Red Cross or donations to any other organization?
Bi-Lo (http://www.bi-lo.com)
Fresh Market (http://www.freshmarket.com)
Lowes Home Improvement (http://www.lowes.com)
Of course they all have a cap on how much they will give but I think it is great that they are matching these donations. I made my donation at one of these stores so that it would be matched. If you can basically double your donation why not?
Just wondering what other stores are offering the same.

Lowes is tripling whatever donations they receive. They have a table set up in the store. (at least here at the one I went to)

My brother works for Bayer. They are matching all of their employees' contributions up to $1 million. I sent my brother some money to add to what he was donating in order to get mine doubled as well.

I heard Lowe's was doubling contributions to 1 million. When did this change and are they going over the million now?
Hubby's work matched contributions, so we gave thru them.

Ukrops, a local grocery chain in Richmond, is matching the first $25,000 in donations. I think they've already met that but are still accepting donations for the Red Cross. They are also filling up at least two trailers of supplies donated by customers (they have two drop locations that I've heard of, maybe multiple trailers).

Visa will not charge interest for donations made with a Visa card. I don't know all the details, my neighbor is a Visa exec and his wife told me this. They have given a Million to start with plus are matching emploee donations.
Many companies in Austin have offered to give people time off with full pay to work on the relief effort.
